Our sync•gw server is designed to add SyncML and WBXML synchronization capabilities to your web server. With this software you can align e.g. your contact and calendar data between your mobile device and your web server installation.

How can sync•gw improve your productivity?

  • Use sync•gw to backup your essential data - as soon as you've synchronized your data with your client device, all data is saved - if you lose your mobile phone and purchase a new one, synchronize and you will immediately have your data available on your new device!
  • If you use a local mail client or Personal Information Manager (PIM) on your PC, you can synchronize your data with sync•gw server. You may then synchronize the data with your mobile device, so your contacts are always up to date!
  • If you use a web based mail client, you can use sync•gw implemented support for existing applications. Synchronize your device and you have all of your contacts available within your web application!
  • You want to share your customer contacts or calendar data within your company? Feed data into sync•gw server and your employees can easily synchronize the data on their hand held device from shared data store.
  • If you want to synchronize e.g. your contact data between your cell-phone and your e-mail program on your PC (using e.g. Thunderbird or Outlook), sync•gw support this as well: Install sync•gw including "File" or "MySQL" back end and use sync•gw as gateway between client device and e-mail program.

  • All syncgw classes start now with the letter "sgw"
  • A couple of files are renamed and moved to enable class auto loading
